Ata leads the architectural development of the EarthDetails 3D engine and has created much of its code with tremendous influence from and mentorship by Reza Roboubi.

He has been responsible for interfacing the EarthDetails engine with datasets from various sources including LIDAR, USGS aerial and urban photos, USGS SDTS DEM, geographic DEM and imagery, and ESRI Shape files. In doing so, Ata has overcome the challenge of managing 100 gigabyte datasets on a regular PC with 1GB of RAM.

In 2006, Ata has taken on the business development and outreach for EarthDetails and continues to form and maintain dialogue with the industry.

Reza brings a solid mathematical foundation to EarthDetails. He has dedicated tremendous effort to researching algorithms and keeping up with the latest papers in the industry. Reza has maintained a tight focus on core Linux operating system, disk-access, Internet Protocol networking, embedded devices, and all matters of platform. As such, Reza is excited to be an instrumental part in bringing the core EarthDetails technology to digital platforms and people around the world.

Reza also ensures sound coding practices, peer review, and clean source code interface and management. He provides EarthDetails with software programming guidance and oversight.

In addition, Reza continues to keep EarthDetails informed with market research and analysis.
